Join award-winning author, Jody Cooksley, on a journey through the creative writing process as she talks about the inspiration, research and craft behind her second novel, How to Keep Well in Wartime.

Make a bird box or bug hotel at the Princess Alice Hospice Shed.
Thursday 11th June at 10.30am. There is no charge for this event and no previous woodworking skill is necessary.

Scrabble.

If you would like to play scrabble in a relaxed and friendly group, come along to Angela's house on Friday 12th and 16th June at 2.00pm.

Writing Group.

The writing group will meet at Christina's house on Wednesday 17th June at 10.30am. This is an opportunity to write about your life experiences with help and advice from two published authors.

Knit and Natter, Crochet and Chatter.
The group meets once a month, usually on the third Thursday of the month. Come and spend time with fellow crafters - it’s informal, relaxed and suitable for crafters of all levels.

Tea and Chat.

Mudlarking. A guided tour along the Thames foreshore.
Thursday 25th June at 3.30pm. An experienced member from the Thames Explorer Trust will help us find and identify artefacts located on the surface of the foreshore. This is a chance to find evidence of thousands of years of history - who lived here and how they lived. https://thames-explorer.org.uk/
